There are some different granola camps. He falls directly into the large, daily, healthy granola class. Instead of her biscuits disguised as granola camp. It's my new favorite thing, and I've been on the meter for weeks. Leave it!
Mediterranean black and deep chocolate-flavored with dark black cocoa and cocoa mushrooms, this granola is full of heart healthy oats and seeds. Naturally sweet, compact and crisp, the recipe requires a small dip of olive oil and uses a secret ingredient to bring it together.
Is homemade granola bad for you?
This is a question I am asking a lot. The short answer is that many granolas have a lot of sugar in them. And, many granolas have many useless added fats or oils. We are basically talking about cookies in clumsy form, which, I think we can all agree, are delicious. As a foundation for your daily breakfast? Laughter / cry. My hope is that today's prescription will be a nice alternative.
My Healthy Granola Inspiration
In Los Angeles last month, me after all made the beautiful Botanica. After dinner, Emily Fiffer, one of the inspired owners, sent us home with a package of delights for our long journey to San Francisco. Includes a Botanica Cocoa Granola cocoa jar. In short, it was a (severe) granola disclosure – crisp, wild, deep chocolate flavored, short ingredient list. Botanica granola was the jump for this recipe, and if you want to get this recipe for a spin too, you can find it here.
The basic tweaks? I used the aquafaba shovel (the liquid in a chicory pot) as a binder, allowing me to re-add the added oil with a good bit. Black cocoa gives you that midnight chocolate flavor reminds Oreo biscuits, but regular cocoa powder is also great! And, I repeat the sweetness a shadow.
The magic of Aquafaba
Take a look below. What you see is aquafaba. If you have a cane chicken, you have enough aquafaba for this recipe (the liquid in the box). It is beaten in tops and the other granola ingredients are folded in. It is a fantastic medium for granola that acts as a binder, helping to deliver this pungent magic loves everyone. Aquafaba behaves like whipped white beef but with granola with aquafaba you can make a version that can be enjoyed by a wider range of people including vegans and people trying to work more vegetable-based meals in their diet . And now I'm an itch to make this rose butterfly again using this technique!
If you go for healthy granola, you will want to choose for healthy toppings. I like this Granola served over yogurt, with a side of any seasonal fruit looks good. You can see it here, along with strawberries and strawberries in slices. There is a sprinkling of goji berries and rose petals as well. It's also good in a simple bowl of milk or milk – I like almond or oats.
