The length of the waiting period depends on the drug and the individual. Light green represents the minimum withdrawal time The dark green represents the maximum waiting time. Drug abuse treatment can reduce the severity of withdrawal symptoms.

  • Alcohol: 3-10 days
  • Caffeine: 2-9 days
  • Cannabis: 7-14 days
  • Cocaine: 7-14 days
  • Heroin: 5-10 days
  • Nicotine: 14-28 days
